Sleep Study
Beginning with a complete evaluation of your medical history of sleep and physical examination, we begin our journey towards the approach to a diagnosis. The final diagnosis is made by Polysomnography. A sleep study is done by connecting the electrodes & wires to various points of the body, to monitor the quality of sleep, the structure and the effort of breathing. Like the recording of brain waves, the level of oxygen in the blood, heart rate and breathing, as well as movements of the eyes and legs during the study. Patients are monitored for the quality and quantity of their sleep, as well as breathing patterns and body movements. Continuous wireless monitoring is provided by our sleep technologists during the study. We accept all commercial and Medicaid insurance, including new and affordable Medicaid HMO programs. We have special packages to accommodate self-paid patients |
